Under the umbrella of the DREAMS Initiative of the US Government’s PEPFAR support in Kenya, ASPIRES is organizing short-term technical assistance for experts in the delivery of training and follow-on support in two areas: financial capabilities and entrepreneurship. The Training of Trainers for each topic will be delivered to 10 local implementing partners who are serving the DREAMS target population of adolescent girls and young women ages 10-24 who are HIV-vulnerable in Nairobi and Kisumu (Western) province.
The UNAOC Global Forum is a major event organized regularly by the UNAOC, bringing together government heads of states and Foreign Ministers, prominent personalities and experts as well as current and potential partners from academia, media, the private sector, youth-led organizations and other civil society organizations. The Forum provides a global platform for discussions on intercultural dialogue and social inclusion. Past Forums have been hosted in Spain, Turkey, Brazil, Qatar, Austria and Indonesia.

The International Challenge on Economics Ideas (ICEI) is an international essay competition aimed towards undergraduate students from all over the world. ICEI is a nonprofit annual event that is organized by the Economics Student Association of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). All participants are expected to elaborate on the theme of “Financial Policy to Create Economic Sustainability”. Since 2006, ICEI has inspired many people to voice their thought via writing, impressing even the judges with the ideas of participant’s essay.
The Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion announces the launch of a Research Fellows Program to support research and thought leadership in financial inclusion. The purpose of this program is to encourage independent researchers and analysts to examine systematically some of the most important challenges in the financial inclusion arena. Fellows will enter the program as either CFI Research Fellows or Accion Research Fellows or, depending on their focus.
The Youth Working Group is open to any individual not older than 30 years, or any organization that is youth-led or has a mandate to work with youth. The Youth Working Group is facilitated by the UN Major Group for Children and Youth (UN MGCY). This Major Group is the official space for children and young people to contribute to certain intergovernmental and policy processes at the United Nations. The UN MGCY is self-organized, youth-led and volunteer based, implementing democratic structures.
