FELLOWSHIP: Africa Business Fellowship, 2017

Africa Business Fellowship

The Africa Business Fellowship is a partnership between Econet, African Leadership Network (ALN), and Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT). The program will match young American business professionals with paid 6-month placements in African companies. Its purpose is to strengthen relationships between the African and American business communities and provide future American business leaders with the hands-on experience they need to truly understand business in Africa. We believe that by exposing high-achieving American professionals to African business at this stage in their careers, we are setting the stage for increased American-African investment and more meaningful collaboration.

FORUM: International Youth Forum (IYF), October 9-14, 2016

World Culture Forum

The International Youth Forum (IYF) will be held in Bali for six days, from 9-14 October 2016, parallel and in conjunction with the World Culture Forum (WCF). IYF invites the participation of youths from around the world, with a particular emphasis on independent thinking and social transformation, to represent the youth voice in an effort to mainstream culture into the agenda of development. The main theme of IYF, “Youth Culture for Social Transformation and Equality” is directly correlated to the WCF theme, “Culture for an Inclusive Sustainable Planet”.

AGRIPRENEURSHIP: CORAF/WECARD Youth Empowerment Agripreneurship in West Africa Project, July 2016

CORAF/WECARD

The objective of this call is to enrol over 1000 Young entrepreneurs in agriculture “Agripreneurs” or young people interested in agriculture in a one-year mentoring process in the framework of the project “Empowering Youths for Agripreneurship in West Africa”. Mentees will benefit from an assigned mentor for the duration of the program, agricultural advisory services and online live chat sessions with mentors.

Atlas Corps seeks nonprofit/NGO professionals from around the world to apply for Fellowships in the U.S. Atlas Corps engages leaders committed to the nonprofit sector in 6-18 month, professional fellowships at organizations to learn best practices, build organizational capacity, and return home to create a network of global leaders. Fellows serve at Host Organizations working on issues that complement their expertise. Applications are invited for UNAOC Fellowship Program for the candidates from Europe and North America (EUNA) and from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The main objective of the Fellowship Program is to challenge cultural stereotypes and develop cross-cultural partnerships between peoples from different faiths and cultures. The UNAOC Fellowships aims at fostering intercultural exchange and interfaith understanding by engaging with emerging leaders and young professionals from Europe, North-America (EUNA), the Middle East and North-Africa (MENA).
