JOB: Communications Manager

Nathan’s Communications Manager will serve as the primary point of contact and process owner for kicking off, implementing and refining the firm’s newly established re-branding effort. As a company in a growth mode, this represents a critical new role being introduced to Nathan. In this capacity, the Communications Manager will collaborate and coordinate with a global, cross-functional team of senior leaders and staff members to develop strategies and manage execution of tactics in support of Nathan’s global brand.

 

The Communications Manager will report directly to the President & CEO and work closely with Nathan’s Executive Committee. The successful candidate must possess a wholehearted commitment to excellence and the ability to be self-driven and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As such, there is significant room for personal and professional growth.

 

Content strategy and production

  • Plan, implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across numerous markets and internal and external audiences
  • Oversee and maintain Nathan’s thought leadership strategy and develop supporting content and assets
  • Work with internal subject matter experts, key stakeholders, and external marketing vendors to develop marketing materials for print and online distribution
  • Develop and maintain effective marketing and presentation tools
  • Strategically position and maintain Nathan’s corporate website with new and fresh content
  • Develop and implement a corporate social media strategy targeted to key clients and markets
  • Develop and update additional print and digital collateral for each of Nathan’s four areas of expertise and corporate strategic thrusts

Brand integrity

 

  • Ensure consistent and effective use of Nathan’s brand identity elements
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor marketing performance metrics
  • Develop and implement internal trainings on Nathan’s brand as well as on relevant communications materials, processes, and procedures for all Nathan corporate offices, remote staff and field offices

Project management

 

  • Manage the corporate communications budget and assist in leveraging the communications budgets of each business line
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar for publishing written and graphic content to Nathan’s website and social media

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 7-15 years of Communications and/or marketing experience related to Business to Business and/or Business to Government at corporations or a marketing agency.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field desired
  • Global experience in marketing and communications across numerous services/markets/audiences
  • Proven experience in leadership roles and operating at an executive level or with executives
  • Willingness to travel

Skills

  • Experience in digital marketing, writing for the web, and use of website content management systems (WordPress), including experience with performance metrics and reporting (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Proven ability to optimize presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required; proficiency in Adobe InDesign desired
  • Demonstrated leadership and excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills
